From the moment they arrived on February 14th, the staff greeted them warmly, making their stay feel inviting. Their tidy room provided a comfortable retreat, and they appreciated the generous breakfast selection, which made mornings delightful. The hotel's prime location remained a highlight, with the main bus station and charming local cafes within walking distance, allowing for plenty of exploration. My grandfather, an avid golfer, was thrilled to discover that McGettigan's is nestled at the gateway to Letterkenny, with multiple golf courses just a short drive away. For families, activities like Airsoft and Karting nearby ensure fun-filled days. They even enjoyed a stroll to Grianan Theatre-a quick five-minute walk-where they experienced local culture. On their last day, when heating issues arose, the staff handled it swiftly, reflecting their commitment to hospitality. McGettigan's Hotel is a commendable choice for families seeking a welcoming atmosphere while enjoying both relaxation and a plethora of local adventures.
